Job Summary This is an amazing opportunity for an Assembly and Test Inspector in our MRO Commercial Engine Center. The position is located at US-FL-JUPITER-ADR ~ 17900 Beeline Hwy ~ ADR BLDG. It is a 2nd Shift Monday‑Friday, 3:30 pm to Midnight, with a shift differential. This is a Labor Grade 5 position. Responsibilities Use a wide variety of power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly and components. Perform dimensional and visual inspections following standardized methods and established techniques. Conduct surface‑plate work or standard measuring techniques to verify accuracy of parts, tools, gauges, or other equipment. Accept or reject material based on findings. Work from applicable written inspection procedures and engineering drawings. Plan and perform dimensional and/or visual inspections on parts, tools, gauges and other equipment per pertinent instructions. Refer material for rework or quality review when necessary. Use fixed and variable measuring instruments, including automated measuring machines. Check dimensions and record results according to program instructions. Perform necessary mathematical computations to resolve extent of nonconformance and complete appropriate paperwork. Follow proper procedures to perform in‑line checks and verifications of dimensions, ensuring operation sheets are followed. May be assigned tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description, to support department objectives and develop individual skills. Learning Opportunities Skills, systems, and processes critical to aerospace manufacturing within a state‑of‑the‑art facility. Interpretation/application of technical data to aid in the disassembly and assembly of commercial and military jet engines. Forklift, scissor lift, and other powered industrial vehicle (PIV) trainings. Basic Qualifications High school graduate or GED. 2 years formal training in power‑plant mechanics and testing. Preferred Qualifications A&P License. Experience working from complicated drawings, specifications, procedures, and instructions to fabricate, configure, install, remove/replace, and set up a variety of power systems, components, modules, and associated equipment. Experience with Solumina, SFWF, or similar programs. Ability to obtain and maintain certifications to operate powered industrial vehicles. Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance.
