Procurement Specialist (Varying Levels)

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Procurement Specialist (Varying Levels) in Woodbridge, VA. Position Summary: We are seeking multiple Procurement Specialists across varying experience levels to support procurement and contracting activities within a fast‑paced organization. These professionals will be responsible for managing the procurement lifecycle, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations, including the Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA). Successful candidates will possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. VPPA experience is required for all levels of this position. Manage procurement activities from requisition through contract award and purchase order issuance Prepare and administer solicitations including Request for Proposals (RFPs); Invitations for Bids (IFBs); Requests for Quotations (RFQs); Requests for Information (RFIs) Ensure compliance with VPPA and applicable procurement regulations Review specifications, scopes of work, contracts, and procurement documentation for accuracy and completeness Conduct market research and vendor outreach activities Evaluate supplier proposals and recommendations Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors Manage contract files and procurement records Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and sourcing strategies Resolve vendor performance issues, invoice discrepancies, and contract concerns Support audits and reporting requirements related to procurement activities Provide procurement guidance to internal departments and stakeholders Requirements Bachelor's degree VPPA experience Varying levels – minimum 3 years of experience for level 1, 7+ years of experience and managerial experience for level 3 The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
