Pediatric Speech Therapist in Minneapolis, MN

Experience a fulfilling opportunity as a remote Speech Language Pathologist supporting students across Minnesota for the 2024-2025 school year. This virtual, school-based contract role allows you to leverage your expertise in speech and language disorders while working in a flexible environment with dedicated support.
In this position, you'll assess, diagnose, and implement individualized therapy plans, guiding students from pre-K through 12th grade toward improved communication skills. Collaborating virtually with educators and families, you will deliver direct teletherapy, monitor progress, and foster success in both academic and social settings.
Qualifications and Desired Background:
- Valid Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist license (active or pending)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency
- Minimum of two years of previous experience in a school-based setting
- Proficiency with technology, including computer and webcam operation
- Ability to pass technical screening and meet internet speed requirements
- Professional liability insurance with 500K/500K annual coverage
- SLP-CFY, SLP-CCC, or SLPA considered with appropriate experience
- Background in pediatrics, teletherapy, and healthcare for diverse student needs
- Conduct virtual assessments and diagnoses of speech/language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver engaging direct and consultative teletherapy services
- Monitor, document, and report student progress
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
