DTG / Tempering Operators - 2nd Shift

At SBG, we value quality, teamwork, innovation, and the dedicated employees who make our success possible DTG & Tempering Operator Full-Time | 2nd Shift Standard Bent Glass is looking for DTG & Tempering Operators to join our manufacturing team. This position supports the production of specialty glass products through Direct-to-Glass (DTG) printing and glass tempering processes . The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Operate and assist with equipment used in DTG printing and glass tempering processes. Prepare and handle glass and materials for production. Follow work instructions, production specifications, and established procedures. Monitor products throughout the production process to ensure quality requirements are met. Inspect glass for printing, dimensional, visual, or other quality concerns and report issues to the appropriate personnel. Safely handle and position glass throughout the manufacturing process. Monitor equipment and processes and communicate any problems or abnormalities. Complete required production and quality documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work closely with Production and Quality to meet production and quality goals. Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous manufacturing, production, glass, printing, or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required . Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to learn equipment, processes, and production procedures. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be willing to work the assigned shift and overtime as needed. Pay & Schedule Pay: $19.00/hour + $2.00/hour 2nd Shift Differential 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM, Monday–Thursday Friday overtime may be required based on production needs.
