Learn more about our benefits.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the continual design and implementation of a scalable, global HR technology ecosystem that supports operational excellence and employee experienceProvide strategic input into the HR technology roadmap in partnership with the Employee Experience leads and other stakeholdersBuild, lead and inspire a team of a high-performing team of HRIS analysts and HR technology professionalsFoster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.Drive the enhancement of HR processes to support scalability, automation, and continuous improvement across the functionApply emerging technologies, including AI tools, to improve technical process execution and service deliveryDemonstrate deep technical expertise in Workday; experiencing leading Workday implementations or transformations is highly desirableExperience with platforms such as ServiceNow, Eightfold, and other HR technologies is a strong plus.Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, and IT, to understand business needs and translate them into technology solutionsIncorporate stakeholder requirements into the HR technology strategy and execution plans.Manage the intake, prioritization and delivery of HR technology and continuous improvement (CIP) projects.Oversee the execution of HR technical initiatives in close partnership with IT and cross-functional teams.RequirementsAt Applied Materials, Make Possible is about unlocking new opportunities – with our customers and within our own company. The ideal candidate will have the following:Minimum of 10-12+ years of progressive experience in HR Technology, with a strong track record in a leadership capacity.Deep understanding of global HR systems, processes, and data governanceAbility to think strategically and contribute to the development of global programs, frameworks, and process improvementsStrong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights and make data-driven recommendationsProven experience managing end-to-end HR technology projects, including requirements gathering, design validation, user acceptance testing (UAT) and deploymentPartner effectively with Date & Analytics team to uphold data integrity, security, and compliance across HR platformsRecognized as a subject matter expert (SME) in HR technology, with the ability to collaborate across departments and solve complex business challenges.Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR technology professionals in a dynamic environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.A hands-on leader with a strong desire to understand the details while maintaining a strategic perspective and driving innovation.Functional KnowledgeWe are a catalyst to unlock the power of our customers’ ideas and are committed to overcoming challenges that seem insurmountable.
