As an award-winning distributor, Spirit delivers authorized products and a range of value-added services, including SMI/VMI, foundry access, electrical and environmental testing, design, assembly, and end-of-life management.Position Overview:The Quality Analyst supports Spirit's AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) through documentation control, nonconformance management, and organizational quality assurance activities. This position ensures compliance with aerospace and defense industry standards, including MIL-STD specifications, and maintains quality management processes for electronic component distribution operations and business operations.Essential Job Functions:Process and investigate nonconforming material reports and customer complaints and work to closureMaintain quality management system documentation and recordsConduct internal audits of AS9100 processes and proceduresTrack and analyze quality performance metrics and KPIsSupport corrective and preventive action processesMaintain document control system and revision processesPrepare quality reports and metrics for management reviewSupport external audits and certification activitiesMonitor supplier quality performance dataCoordinate quality training and awareness programsReview and process supplier corrective actions per Eight Disciplines (8D) problem solving methodologyMaintain calibration records and schedulesSupport risk management activitiesParticipate in management review meetingsAssist with quality improvement initiativesReview and process First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)Requirements:2+ years of experience in AS9100 quality management systemsAssociate's degree in quality, business, supply chain management, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferredKnowledge of aerospace quality management requirements and standardsExperience with document control and quality management softwareStrong understanding of corrective action processesFamiliar with problem solving methodologies demonstrating the ability to analyze and bring problems to closureInternal auditor certification preferredProficiency in data analysis and reportingDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsExperience with quality metrics and KPIsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple prioritiesExperience with risk-based thinkingProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelMust be a U.S. Person due to ITAR/EAR requirementsExperience with IPC-A-610 a plusFamiliarity with MIL-STD-883Experienced with AS9102 Aerospace First Article InspectionGreen Belt certification a plus
