Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a Burn Unit night shift position requiring AZ or compact RN license and telemetry experience.

Details

• Work in a Burn Unit within the MS/Tele department
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:5 across days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact) in hand required for consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience required
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, central line and PICC line care preferred
• Experience with ventilator management, Trauma Level I, and burn unit care preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred but not required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care for burn and telemetry patients, including wound care, skin grafts, and surgical drain management
• Manage complex wound care and electrolyte replacement needs
• Administer IV insulin protocols and monitor endocrine/metabolic conditions
• Perform cardiac monitoring and emergency response as needed
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
