Role Overview

Create high-quality public-company investor relations deliverables through self-contained exercises using mock results packs, shareholder registers, and analyst models. Each completed work product is assessed against a defined rubric.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft quarterly earnings releases, prepared remarks, and Q&A briefing materials for results calls.
• Develop guidance-setting and guidance-revision recommendations supported by scenarios.
• Create investor day and IR presentation materials, equity story and positioning decks, AGM materials, and deal announcement packages.
• Analyze shareholder registers and ownership bases, evaluate activist vulnerability, and prepare dividend and capital-return recommendations.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of in-house investor relations experience at a public company.
• Direct ownership of a full earnings cycle, including the release, executive script, Q&A, and analyst engagement.
• Preferred: IRC charter from NIRI, prior sell-side equity research experience before moving in-house, or investor relations agency experience.

Assessment

• Complete an earnings release and prepared remarks based on a mock results pack.
• Provide a guidance revision recommendation.
• Conduct an activist vulnerability assessment.

Eligibility

This role requires public-company investor relations experience. Investor relations work for private equity or venture funds, focused on LP fundraising, does not meet this requirement.

Work Terms

• Remote, per-task engagement.
