This is a hands-on position working with mechanical components, industrial equipment and shop tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.  This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand and power tools, and looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing.  While this is an entry-level opportunity for career growth, candidates should already have basic experience working with tools in a shop, manufacturing, construction, automotive, farm or similar hands-on environment.  We provide on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement as your skills develop.

• Assist with assembly of large industrial equipment and components
• Use hand and power tools including drills, grinders and other shop equipment
• Prepare parts for assembly through cleaning, deburring and basic surface preparation
• Support general shop organization and cleanliness
• Work safely around industrial equipment including cranes and tow motors
• Follow company safety procedures and productions standards

Qualifications:

• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
• Previous experience in manufacturing, metal shop, construction, automotive, mechanical or industrial environments preferred
• Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail
• Reliable, dependable and willing to learn
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
