Fully Remote attorney opportunity with a firm based in west Los Angeles!!! This is listed as hybrid to encourage CA attorneys only to apply; ideally, candidates will be located in/around Los Angeles in case of in-person hearings/depositions, but qualified attorneys throughout Southern CA are encouraged to apply.
An exciting, growing law firm specializing in legal malpractice and commercial litigation is seeking an associate attorney for its expanding team. The firm handles interesting litigation, is very hybrid/remote flex, and has low billables - 1650!!
The firm is based on the west side with a remote schedule.
Associate Attorney Responsibilities
This person will work on professional liability, D& O litigation, and business litigation matters.
Discovery, including depositions.
Law and motion.
Court appearances.
Pleadings.
Communicating with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel.
Billable Hour Req: 1650
Compensation, Benefits, Other Perks
Salary from $140,000 to $185,000
Several ways to bonus!
Annual bonuses tied to performance, which includes hours billed, quality of performance, success; annual holiday bonuses; and period performance bonuses.
Medical is covered 100% for the employee and immediate family.

401k + safe harbor 3.5% contribution.

• Active license to practice law in good standing.• At least 2 years of experience handling civil litigation or closely related dispute matters.
• Demonstrated ability to draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal filings with minimal supervision.
• Hands-on experience with discovery, including written responses, document analysis, and depositions.
• Strong oral advocacy skills, including the ability to argue motions and appear in court when required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel.
• Ability to manage multiple matters effectively while producing high-quality work in a flexible remote environment.
