This position focuses on accurately picking customer orders throughout the day in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will work on foot, wearing a headset for voice-directed picking, and use an RF scanner to support stocking and inventory tasks. The role requires consistent walking, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain productivity and accuracy without using powered material handling equipment. Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently throughout the shift using a headset-based system.
• Walk up to approximately 10 miles per day while maintaining a steady and productive work pace.
• Use an RF scanner to locate, pick, and resupply bins with inventory as needed.
• Stock and maintain inventory freight in preparation for order picking while working on foot.
• Perform picking and packing tasks to prepare orders for shipment.
• Follow established warehouse processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and productivity.
• Handle products and materials safely, including lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Work assigned shifts, which may include weekends and holidays, to meet operational needs.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to support smooth warehouse operations.

Essential Skills

• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to stoop, squat, and kneel on a regular basis while performing picking and stocking tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when needed.
• Safety-oriented mindset with a commitment to following all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ability to maintain a consistent, fast-paced work rate while walking long distances.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when picking and packing orders.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required by the shift schedule.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse, order picking, or packing environment is helpful but not required.
• Comfort using RF scanners or similar handheld devices to manage inventory.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Reliability and strong work ethic, with consistent attendance and punctuality.

Work Environment

This role is based in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment focused on order fulfillment and inventory management. You will work on foot throughout the shift, using a headset and RF scanner to perform picking, stocking, and packing tasks. The dress code is relaxed and practical, allowing shorts or pants, a t-shirt without profanity, and sneakers or other closed-toe shoes to ensure safety and comfort. Available shifts include a first shift from Sunday to Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and a third shift from Sunday to Wednesday (4x10 schedule), 6:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., providing options for different schedule preferences.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FREDERICKSBURG, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $21.25/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
