Job Description The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility to ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in promoting a healthy and hygienic environment conducive to patient healing and well-being. Position Details Full-time housekeeper at Mercy Hospital Southeast. Motivated individuals to work day and evening shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays on a varied schedule. Starting rates begin at $15/hr with additional shift differentials. Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, 1701 Lacey Street, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701. Hours/Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per week). Minimum Qualifications Education: None. Experience: None. Preferred Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: Prior hospital environmental service experience. Experience following written and verbal instructions. Manual task experience. Prior experience working with the public; customer service. Physical Requirements Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Prolonged standing and walking each shift. Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
