Key Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and executing customized treatment plans aimed at improving patient mobility, strength, and overall physical function.

• Administer modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under the guidance of a licensed physical therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking metrics like range of motion, strength improvements, and the effectiveness of treatment interventions.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members including occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.
• Prepare treatment areas, ensuring the organization and availability of all necessary supplies and equipment for effective therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A minimum of an Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Compensation and Benefits
