Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite within a hospital setting in the vibrant city of Los Angeles. Your typical work hours will be Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility needed to accommodate scheduling demands and the specific needs of our patients. This role fosters close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and executing individualized treatment plans for patients aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities, encouraging their participation to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educate patients on effective body mechanics, proper exercise techniques, and tailored home exercise programs to support their healing journey.
• Administer therapeutic modalities, such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound therapy, and temperature therapy, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously and assist in assessing improvements in strength, range of motion, and functional capabilities.
• Maintain treatment areas, ensuring equipment is clean, organized, and ready for use, contributing to a safe and efficient clinical environment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to synchronize patient care efforts and share insights that optimize care outcomes.
• Support patients emotionally, offering encouragement and reinforcing a positive environment throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards, including protecting patient confidentiality and fostering patient trust.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

• Proven skills in implementing therapeutic exercises and modalities under the mentorship of licensed professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 60,000 to $80,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
