As a Security Officer Uniformed Patrol in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, parking areas, entrances, administrative spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and public areas, report suspicious behavior and/or unattended items, and follow post orders related to restricted areas, visitor activity, and after-hours access.
• Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a professional presence, providing directions and assistance to the public, and completing required reports and logs in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
