Child Care Center Director

* *Educational requirments :*
* *Bachelor's Degree:* _in Education, Psychology, Health Care, Nursing, or any other field related to Child Growth and Development; or Teaching Certification from Department of Education in Elementary Education, Nursery School, Preschool through Third Grade (P-3) or Teacher of the Handicapped_
* *Experience* : _Six credits in ECE and 2 years experience in the industry_

Ÿ *As a Center Director*: you will manage a childcare school in its entirety, developing, organizing, and maintaining programs and systems for staff.

Ÿ Programming/scheduling staff

Ÿ Purchasing supplies and materials for programs and staff.

Ÿ Directing and training Program Directors (Head Teachers)

ŸPreparing budgets, recording tuition, and maintaining records for payroll, sick time, weekly revenues

Ÿ Give tours to prospective parents

Ÿ Maintaining state-required records of students and personnelŸ Creating and distributing a monthly newsletter, calendar of events, menus etc. In addition, maintaining state accounts, contracts and payments.

Working with a state preschool program implemented into the facility

_*You will report to a Regional Director or Owner*_

Ÿ Performing all work in accordance with governmental laws, State mandates and company policies

Ÿ Conducting contacts with parents

Ÿ Assuring programs and activities will be conducted within the safety standards and policies of the company

Ÿ This is a salaried position and may exceed beyond the scale of a 40 hour work week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
