Director of Foster Care

Responsibilities Director of Foster Care Universal Health Services, Inc. company, in partnership with Greystone Foster Care, has a long history in providing comprehensive behavioral health care services to at-risk youth struggling with extensive mental health issues. Greystone Foster Care recruits foster parents and offers the training to be equipped to provide a safe, stable and therapeutic environment for children and youth that have been removed from their homes. Our training prepares staff and foster parents to support children and youth as they begin the healing process. Our therapeutic foster parents link children and youth to hope, healing and trust. Greystone Foster Care is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Director of Foster Care to add to our growing team. This is a hybrid job blends remote work and in-office position with occasional requirements to report to the Brentwood, TN facility. The primary responsibilties of the Director of Foster Care are to coordinate and supervise the Regional Foster Care Program including the Regional Foster Care staff, parents and homes to fulfill the agency's mission. This role requires full-time dedication and must be flexible to include weekends and evening work. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Achieve and maintain Foster Care Program capacity goals. Recruit, hire, train, evaluate and supervise employees in the Foster Care Program Ensure compliance with CARF and licensing standards. Conduct periodic inspections of foster homes, client records and ensure compliance with the Foster Care Program policies and procedures Implement recruitment and retention strategies, licensing and re-licensing processes and supervise foster home placements Develop and implement an in-service training program for all staff within the department in conjunction with the Executive Director and other agency training programs.
