Job Title: Float Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: Temporary Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of PCU experience required License: FL/Compact nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Flexibility to float as required - Degree accreditation on profile or 5 years of experience Description: Floating is required to sister campuses as necessary. The nurse will work with adult and geriatric populations. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 4 to 6:1, depending on patient mix. The electronic medical record system used is Epic. All required demographic information must be submitted with the application. Culture is a priority, and travelers are expected to function as core staff members. All requests for time off must be included in the submission; no exceptions will be made. Hard document deadlines are enforced, with no exceptions for pending documents.
