You will manage access, monitor activity, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
- Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, maintain visitor logs, issue authorized credentials, and communicate visitor information to appropriate campus personnel.
- Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and/or other security-related systems from the designated desk area, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
- Maintain accurate records, complete daily activity reports, and provide clear communications to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
