SBA Business Development Officer

This individual will be responsible for developing relationships and soliciting prospective customers producing 7a and USDA loan opportunities for the Bank through calling efforts, marketing, and referrals. Minimum annual loan production goal of $10MM+.RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO):Maintain current knowledge of SBA and other government guaranteed lending programsFollow all SBA policies and proceduresPrepare presentations for loan approvalAdhere to all compliance standards and regulationsAssist in collections efforts as neededSet pricing and terms for loan products soldEvaluate loan requests and customer financial conditionProvide operational and managerial support to the lending teamMINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:3+ years related SBA experience as a loan producerMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Excellent written and verbal communicationAbility to build and maintain relationshipsAble to make decisions independentlyAbility to analyze and evaluate riskOrganizedDetail OrientedAbility to work independentlyFamiliar with SBA lending regulationsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Community leadership experience a plusSales energy with sustained recordBachelor's degree preferredCOMPUTER/SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Experience with Microsoft Office SuiteOconee State Bank is an Equal Opportunity EmployerNotice to Recruiters: We value our recruiting partnerships, but to protect the interest of all parties, Oconee State Bank (OSB) does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters.
