Senior Property Accountant
Our client, a Residential Real Estate Investment/Development firm is looking for a Senior Property Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to learn and grow within a strong, well established firm with solid policies and procedures in place. This position is on a hybrid schedule (3x week), to downtown San Francisco offices, close to public transportation. Excellent culture and mentorship opportunities within a collaborative team environment.
About the role and your impact:
- The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a portfolio of properties.
- Responsible for the full-cycle accounting, taxes, and financial statements for their respective properties.
- Ensure transactions are in accordance with GAAP
- Month-End/Year-End Close
- Prepare journal entries, conduct reconciliations, and lead financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making.
- Work with all levels within the organization such as Asset Management, Acquisitions, and Development
What you'll bring:
- Bachelors Degree with a preferred major in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in Full-Cycle Accounting
- Strong Analytical Mindset
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, general ledger management, reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience with or an interest in joining the Real Estate industry
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently
- Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment

Compensation:
- $110K-$120K base
- This compensation range is a good faith estimate of the expected wage range you can expect to be paid upon hire.
