Position: Front Desk Coordinator Location: New York City Employment Type: Full-time Compensation: $65,000-$80,000 Position Overview We are seeking a polished and service-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to join a highly regarded private medical practice. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming environment, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a seamless patient experience. The ideal candidate will thrive in a client-facing role and collaborate closely with medical and administrative staff to maintain operational excellence. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth to create a positive first impression Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations to ensure efficient patient flow Handle patient check-in and check-out processes accurately and promptly Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely and courteous manner Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with privacy standards Coordinate with medical staff to support smooth daily operations and address patient needs Required Experience/Skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective patient interaction Customer service mindset with exceptional attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in office software and scheduling systems Professional demeanor and polished appearance suitable for a client-facing role Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations Preferred Experience/Skills Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Bilingual skills for enhanced patient communication Experience handling sensitive information with discretion Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and patient needs Benefits If eligible under the ACA, medical, dental and vision benefits and time off in accordance with local paid sick time laws will be offered.
