Don Marko Pizza & Pasta is looking for an experienced and responsible Restaurant Manager to join our team in Davie, Florida .
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of daily restaurant operations, lead the team, maintain high service standards, and help the restaurant operate efficiently and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily restaurant operations
- Supervise front-of-house and restaurant staff
- Create and manage employee schedules
- Ensure excellent customer service
- Train, motivate, and support employees
- Monitor staff performance and workplace discipline
- Handle customer questions and resolve complaints professionally
- Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and restaurant standards
- Monitor inventory and communicate purchasing needs
- Coordinate with kitchen management and ownership
- Help control labor costs and reduce unnecessary expenses
- Monitor delivery and online orders
- Ensure restaurant policies and procedures are followed
- Assist with hiring and onboarding new employees
- Report operational issues and restaurant performance to ownership
Requirements
- Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Organized, responsible, and reliable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable handling staff scheduling and operational issues
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary
- English required
- Knowledge of Italian restaurant or pizzeria operations is a plus
