Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
• At least two years recent experience in field
• EPIC experience: Required
• Must be able to float between Medical Surgical and Telemetry units

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care.
• Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
• Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment.
• It evaluates progress toward attaining health outcomes and adjusts plans as necessary.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide safe and humane care.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates and coordinates duties of healthcare team members effectively.
