Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessment information, and contribute to the development and execution of a plan of care.
- Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and collaborate with other disciplines while applying critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervision of nursing staff.
- Document patient information in the electronic health record and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients, families, and team members; provide learning opportunities and health information to treatment teams.
- Maintain a safe, healing, and respectful environment; delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (Required)
- CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor (Required)
- Epic EMR experience (Required)
- Minimum two years of recent nursing experience (Required)
- Ability to float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units (Required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
