About This Role The Nurse Manager in the Medical ICU at Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital plays a vital role in overseeing patient care delivery and personnel management. This position is ideal for a compassionate leader with strong communication skills and a commitment to quality care. Highlights Location: Weston, FL Facility: Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital Department/Unit: Medical ICU Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Manage the operation and practice of professional nursing and delivery of nursing care on an assigned unit. Establish clinical direction of nursing care, provide clinical supervision, and maintain quality outcomes and patient care standards. Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care. Develop quality initiatives and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit. Supervise caregivers and promote development. Maintain adherence to JCAHO and other regulatory standards. Develop and monitor budgets, approve purchases, and establish/revise inventory quotes. Analyze personnel structure and determine staffing needs. Evaluate performance, conduct selection and termination processes, and develop strategic plans. Participate in clinical nursing research and support foundation research activities. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Experience: 3+ years of recent clinical nursing experience, including at least 1 year of healthcare management experience Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required upon hire or within the first year About Cleveland Clinic Cleveland Clinic is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
