Overview Do you have a passion for business with a heart for justice? Come support a Catholic nonprofit while learning about donor relationships, fundraising initiatives, grant writing, and other essential facets of nonprofit management. As a DC Service Corps volunteer, you will support an organization addressing social justice issues in DC and around the world. Obtain a year of experience, get solid references, learn about nonprofits, and grow in your Catholic faith as a Development Associate in the DC Service Corps program. Position Responsibilities Manage donor databases, incoming donations, and gratitude to donors Implement Mission Appeal process, from applications to delivery of appeals Play a pivotal role in preparation and execution of our annual fundraising gala, including spearheading the San Damiano Servant Leadership award process Process invoices and purchases Research new donor opportunities Participate in regular office duties and staff meetings Support our event planning/execution Other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (business, marketing, economics, or other) Detail-oriented and organized Excellent computer skills including a proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management Able to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects at once Ability to interact effectively with diverse constituencies Application Details Complete the application form available at this link.
