Work Environment This is a fully remote position, embracing a dynamic telehealth model that allows our therapists to connect with clients from the comfort of their homes. You will enjoy a structured yet flexible work schedule, operating Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. This unique setup eliminates the need for crisis calls, ensuring that our therapists can focus primarily on providing quality care during designated hours. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality teletherapy services to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based methods to enhance emotional and psychological well-being. Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client. Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, engaging clients in meaningful dialogue to promote insight, healing, and growth. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, ensuring clear documentation of clinical notes, treatment progress, and client interactions to maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations, diligently protecting patient health information throughout your practice. Participate in regular treatment team meetings to collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals, including Nurse Practitioners, to enhance patient care strategies. Continuously seek professional development opportunities to advance your therapeutic skills and knowledge base in the field. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will engage with a diverse client population, including adults and adolescents, covering a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will employ a holistic approach to therapy that addresses not only the symptoms but also the underlying causes affecting your clients' emotional health. Sensitivity to cultural differences is essential as you navigate various perspectives and backgrounds within our community. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution. An active, unrestricted license to practice as an LMFT in the state of California. Two years of prior experience in providing direct therapeutic services in a clinical or medical environment. Demonstrated expertise in effective clinical skills, including the ability to stay organized and maintain an up-to-date calendar for client engagement. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in drafting detailed progress notes and facilitating group discussions. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development, including training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities. Preferred Experience Experience with specific therapy techniques such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is a plus. Previous work in a community health setting or with underserved populations. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology to conduct virtual sessions seamlessly. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
