Compensation: $58,000-$72,000 per year

Schedule: 2nd Shift

Job Type: Direct Hire

What You'll Do as the Maintenance Technician:

• Follow all safety and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial equipment and building infrastructure to prevent breakdowns
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair production equipment and infrastructure systems
• Conduct analysis on machine failures to implement corrective actions
• Log maintenance activities, including repairs, modifications, and preventative measures
• Effectively communicate equipment status, repair progress, and maintenance needs to team members and other departments
• Participate in initiatives to enhance process efficiency
• Build partnerships with internal departments and external vendors
• Engage in ongoing training programs to develop technical skills and knowledge
• Work individually or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently
• Respond to clean-up of blood-borne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials

What You Need to Bring to the Maintenance Technician Role:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Broad understanding of industrial maintenance systems and repair
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot equipment failures and perform necessary repairs independently or as part of a team
• Knowledge of mechanical systems such as industrial pumps, motors (AC/DC), pneumatic/hydraulic components, gearboxes, bearings, chains/belts, etc.
• Familiarity with electrical control components (e.g., breakers, relays, switches)
• Basic understanding of plumbing systems; PLC-controlled systems preferred
• Ability to operate forklifts/scissor lifts, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
