Assistant Clinical Director

This role is a full-time hybrid leadership position in home health and hospice, combining direct patient care with clinical operations oversight. The Assistant Clinical Director supports daily clinical activities, mentors staff, and ensures regulatory compliance while advancing patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in home health and hospice settings as needed

Assist with oversight of daily clinical operations and workflow coordination

Support clinical staff through mentoring, education, and leadership guidance

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes

Assist in maintaining compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards

Participate in care planning, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives

Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance

Support staff scheduling, patient assignments, and operational needs

Help implement policies and procedures that promote patient-centered care

Serve as a clinical resource for nursing and support staff

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Previous leadership or supervisory experience

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Strong communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Strong leadership skills

Ability to balance clinical responsibilities with administrative duties

Preferred Skills:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Home health and/or hospice experience

Knowledge of home health and hospice regulations and standards
