General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc): BLS
Certs/ARDMS (RDMS, RDCS, or RVT): RCS, RDCS

Would like Peds but Adults required.


How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 2-3 per location
Will they have to float/cover any other areas? Yes we have 4 locations. 2 Locations at each YRMC Campus one Inpatient and one outpatient.
Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties Required experience: TEE, TTE


Preferred experience: Treadmill/Dobutamine Stress Test Echo.


Job Duties Required: Structured Reporting

Experience or 'Must have' skills Minimum 2 years experience.

Average # of scans/studies per day 6-9
EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use EMR - Cerner
PACS- Merge Cardio
Department Specific Equipment (Client, Phillips, Siemens) Phillips Ultrasound
Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech
Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No
Radiologist in-house? Yes for inpatient areas, Tests are read by the cardiologist.
Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) Yes Sonographers start IVs, this is a preferred skill as they push an echo enhancing agent.
Shifts & Scheduling 4-10 h Shifts. Sunday - Saturday 0630-1700
Weekend Requirement rotating

Call or Standby requirement? Yes, varies and can address further in post interview follow up.
Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? Scrubs are not provided. Teal scrub color.
