Lead Software Engineer - Identity & Access Management

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• 5+ years of Java/JEE design and development experience, including AI-assisted coding, debugging, and root-cause analysis
• Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced Java programming skills
• Advanced knowledge of React or Angular
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
• Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
• Demonstrated proficiency with software applications and technical processes in a discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile
• In-depth knowledge of financial services and its IT systems
• Practical cloud-native experience
• Preferred: Experience with IAM and authentication, multi-region resilience, observability tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk, Ansible, pipeline-as-code, and financial services compliance
• Preferred: Knowledge of PingFederate or ForgeRock

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions, taking innovative approaches to technical challenges
• Write secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
• Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate recurring issue remediation to improve application and system stability
• Lead evaluations with vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs, technical capabilities, and suitability for our systems and information architecture
• Lead Software Engineering communities of practice to promote awareness and adoption of emerging technologies
