AEM Lead Software Engineer - Wealth Management

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, with 5+ years of applied experience
• Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including component development, content architecture, templates, OSGi, Sling Models, and dispatcher configurations; experience with AEM as a Cloud Service or AEM Managed Services
• Strong knowledge of Adobe marketing tools such as Marketo, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or Engage, and their integration with AEM
• Proficiency with modern front-end technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, React or similar frameworks, CSS/SCSS, and responsive design
• Understanding of web security, SEO best practices, WCAG 2.x accessibility, and performance optimization
• Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools, with the ability to set expectations for validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and security and resiliency expectations; experience coaching engineers in safe, compliant adoption
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
• In-depth knowledge of financial services and related IT systems, plus practical cloud-native experience

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions, applying unconventional approaches to solve technical challenges
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
• Lead team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes; establish validation standards and promote reusable patterns
• Apply software development lifecycle tools, including authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value of automation
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to automate remediation to improve application and system stability
• Lead evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architecture, technical capabilities, and fit with existing systems and information architecture
• Provide engineering expertise across agile teams to build, enhance, and deliver secure, stable, and scalable technology products
• Challenge existing approaches, drive innovation and strategic product and technology development, and stay current with industry trends and advances
