Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Active state license required prior to start date Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Telemetry experience - Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs - Weekend coverage every other weekend Description: The role requires a Registered Nurse with telemetry experience. The average patient ratio on day shifts is 1:5. On night shifts, the average ratio is 1:6. Weekend shifts maintain a ratio of 1:5. Candidates must be able to care for various patient diagnoses, including pulmonary hypertension. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and rapid response teams. Skills required include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and non-invasive airway management. Knowledge of isolation precautions and procedures for peripheral line care is necessary. Travelers with pending licenses may apply, but they must be active before the start date. Local candidates will not be accepted if they are within 75 miles of the facility. References may be required. Candidates must communicate any planned time off prior to submission. This position does not require call. Module completion is required pre-start and annually, with varying hours based on specialty. Overall, candidates should exhibit a commitment to quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
