DOD - Electronic TechnicianLocation: Clearwater, FL - 33764 Duration: +6 Months 3rd Shift Mon - Fri (10:00pm - 6:30am)Candidates MUST have Secret Clearance (or potential to get one)IntroductionWe are seeking a skilled Electronic Technician to join our team for a 6-month contract. This position requires working the 3rd shift from Monday to Friday (10:00 pm - 6:30 am). Candidates must have an active Secret Clearance or the potential to obtain one. Due to government regulations, applicants must be U.S. Citizens.Required Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.2 years of experience in the Aerospace or similar industry.2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.2 years of electronic testing experience, including performing automated testing based on detailed written instructions.Ability to review technical data and detect anomalies to prevent defects from reaching the customer.Must have an active Security Clearance.Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on a W2 basis.Preferred Skills & QualificationsAssociates Degree in Electronics.Knowledge of Guidance and Navigation Electronics.Previous experience in testing aerospace electronics.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesPerform Automated System Level Testing by following detailed written procedures.Document system-level events and failures accurately in the data book and e-factory.Perform and complete varied tasks through knowledge-based experience, adhering to work instructions and applying client policies and procedures.Perform test set-up and teardown of associated equipment and cables, storing them in designated locations when not in use.Work across and test multiple products utilizing tools, computers, and office equipment as required to complete job-related tasks.Distinguish between system, station, and software events/issues and comply with detailed instructions on all work.Work autonomously and support client operating systems initiatives.Interact with other test team members and engineering support.Company Benefits & CultureCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and growth.Collaborative and inclusive work environment.
