Recruiting Specialist

Job Summary/Company : Sparks Group has partnered with a leading consulting and technology organization to identify a Recruiting Specialist (Sourcer) to join a dynamic Talent Acquisition team. This role is responsible for sourcing and engaging top technical talent, conducting initial candidate screenings, and supporting full-cycle recruiters throughout the hiring process. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and experienced recruiting for IT positions in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Responsibilities :

• Source and engage qualified candidates for technical and professional-level positions using a variety of recruiting tools and sourcing strategies.
• Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and interest.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Partner with full-cycle recruiters to coordinate interviews and support the hiring process.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Track recruiting metrics including outreach, submissions, interviews, offers, and hires.
• Develop relationships with external talent sources and professional networks.
• Provide a positive candidate experience through consistent communication and timely follow-up.
• Manage multiple recruiting priorities while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Qualifications/Background Profile :

• 2+ years of recruiting experience with a focus on sourcing and identifying high-demand talent.
• 2+ years of experience recruiting for Information Technology (IT) positions.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies.
• Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience recruiting in a government contracting or Department of Defense (DoD) environment is preferred.
• Experience recruiting candidates with active security clearances is preferred.
• Familiarity with Workday and/or Avature is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
