Job Summary Arizona Sports Medicine Center, Scottsdale – A non‑exempt medical office position responsible for coordinating and managing all front‑office processes. Responsibilities Adhere to the mission, purpose, and policies of Tenet Physician Resources, including HIPAA and privacy standards. Support the Corporate Compliance Program by following the Code of Conduct and reporting compliance issues promptly. Welcome patients and answer office phones to manage appointments and basic office tasks. Check in patients, enter accurate demographics into the electronic system, and verify insurance. Coordinate daily operations, including the medical records process, front‑desk control, and office supplies. Manage physician surgical schedules and other business‑related appointments. Assist with patient checkout, including referral processing and scheduling. Collect co‑pays, post charges, and handle charge entry and patient balance processing. Perform daily reconciliation of charges and payments while monitoring and auditing cash/payment funds. Confirm appointments and perform additional clinical or administrative responsibilities as needed. Qualifications High‑school diploma or GED required; completion of a medical office assistant program preferred. Preferable certification in healthcare management or administration.
