About the Position

We are seeking an experienced board-certified OB/GYN Nocturnist to provide comprehensive overnight inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care. This role includes labor management, deliveries, postpartum care, acute gynecologic consults, and urgent interventions during night shifts. You will collaborate closely with a supportive team of physicians and advanced practice providers, ensuring seamless patient care and continuity with day teams.

Schedule:

• Night shifts: 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

• Flexible schedule: 6–12 shifts per month

• In-house coverage; no separate on-call required

Responsibilities:

• Manage obstetric patients, including labor, delivery, postpartum care, and triage

• Address urgent gynecologic consults and interventions

• Collaborate with multispecialty teams for complex cases

• Document care in Epic EMR

• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

• Mentor residents or APPs during nocturnist shifts if applicable

Requirements

• Board Certified in OB/GYN (required)

• Active Colorado medical license or willing to obtain

• DEA registration prior to start

• Recent NPDB self-query report (within 30 days)

• Clean malpractice history highly preferred

• Experience in inpatient obstetrics and gynecology
