Civil Litigation Attorney

High volume, fast-paced local law firm is seeking a motivated Civil Litigation Attorney with a minimum of *2 years of experience* to join our growing team to handle cases of various areas of civil law. This role is ideal for a junior-to-mid-level associate who is ready for a high level of responsibility and wants to gain significant hands-on experience in the courtroom and with clients.

*Key Responsibilities*

* *Case Management:* Manage a diverse caseload of contested civil matters from inception through resolution.
* *Litigation Tasks:* Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
* *Court Appearances:* Represent clients in state and federal court for routine and contested hearings, trials, and mediations.
* *Discovery:* Conduct and defend depositions and manage complex document production.
* *Communication:* Maintain regular, clear communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

*Qualifications*

* *Experience:* Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience, including motion practice and deposition experience.
* *Bar Admission:* Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
* *Skills:* Exceptional research and writing skills, strong oral advocacy, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
