About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will play a pivotal role in the organization's growth, with a focus on upgrading financial visibility, strengthening forecasting and performance management, and scaling the business. Key responsibilities for the CFO include evaluating, building, and scaling the finance function, leading FP&A and performance management, and driving cash flow discipline. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, high-impact professional with a background in scaled, low-margin business models, and experience in T&L or industrial services is highly preferred. The role demands a CFO with a strong operational finance skillset, including FP&A, working capital management, and performance improvement in a growth environment. The ideal candidate for the CFO position at the company will have a background in private equity-backed businesses and experience in supporting an exit. They should be comfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment and have a strong executive presence to effectively partner with management and investors. Responsibilities also include managing banking, lender, and investor relationships, and professionalizing systems, processes, and controls to support growth and future exit readiness. The CFO will be expected to be a low-ego, highly collaborative business partner within a flat organizational structure, and the role is particularly suited to a candidate based in the Eastern or Central time zone.
