About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required. License: Valid state or compact nursing license required at the time of submission. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Must-Have: Experience with EPIC charting system. Ability to start IVs and manage telemetry. Description: Nurses will provide care for patients on a medical/surgical and telemetry unit. This position is for the night shift, working 36 hours per week. Nurses must be willing to float to different units within the organization as needed. Weekend and rotating holiday shifts are required. The estimated patient ratio is 1:3. Candidates will manage care for adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses. Special procedures in the unit include heparin and insulin drips, peritoneal dialysis, and wound care. Nurses are expected to deliver care and demonstrate management of patients requiring continuous monitoring. Interdisciplinary support will include physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. All candidates must comply with credentialing processes during their employment period. Professional references will be required.
