Property Manager

Company Description The Property Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Moorestown, NJ. The Property Manager will oversee the daily operations of a mixed-income apartment community consisting of approximately 50% affordable housing units and 50% market-rate rental units. This unique community requires a strong understanding of resident service, leasing, property operations, and the requirements associated with managing both affordable and market-rate housing. The Property Manager oversees tenant relations, leasing activities, rent collection, and enforcement of community policies. This role coordinates maintenance requests, ensures the timely completion of repairs, and helps maintain safe, clean, and well-functioning buildings and grounds. The Property Manager also monitors occupancy, prepares and maintains accurate records, and supports compliance with applicable affordable housing regulations and company standards. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners, responding to resident concerns, and promoting a positive and welcoming community environment for all residents. Qualifications Experience with property or community management, including leasing, rent collection, and resident relations. Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage schedules, documentation, and regulatory requirements. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, vendors, and internal teams. Basic financial and budgeting skills, including tracking expenses and supporting reporting requirements. Familiarity with affordable housing programs or income-restricted communities is preferred. Proficiency with property management software and standard office applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing). Ability to work on-site, respond promptly to issues, and support a safe, well-maintained environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, real estate, or a related field is a plus. Previous experience in residential property management or a similar customer-facing role strongly preferred.
