Position Summary
We're hiring a polished, experienced maitre'd to lead the guest experience on our front-of-house team as we open Deepwell — the newest full-service restaurant from the Kindred Hospitality group. This role is suited to a hospitality professional who takes pride in warm first impressions, seamless pacing, and setting the tone for a memorable dining experience. We are looking for someone with a passion for people and hospitality.

About Us
Deepwell is an upscale casual restaurant and part of a growing local restaurant group, with several other restaurants in the area owned by Joe & Katy Kindred. Our culinary team has earned numerous James Beard Foundation nominations along with other national and local accolades. We're known for seasonally-driven menus, craft beer and cocktail programs, and stellar wine lists — and we're looking for team members who bring the same level of care to the guest experience that our kitchen brings to the plate.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome guests, setting the tone for their dining experience
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table flow to optimize seating and pacing
• Anticipate guest needs, handle special requests, and resolve concerns with professionalism
• Coordinate closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
• Train, support, and set the standard for hosts and front-of-house support staff
• Maintain a polished, organized, and welcoming host stand and entryway
• Uphold the restaurant's standards for hospitality, presentation, and service at all times
• Support leadership during high-volume, fast-paced shifts

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a maitre'd, host lead, or front-of-house manager required; upscale or fine dining experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of reservation and table management systems
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: Competitive, based on experience. Starting at $18/hr.
