Receptionist

Join our team as a Receptionist and be the welcoming face and voice of our auction facility. In this role, you will play a key part in creating a positive first impression for customers and visitors, ensuring they receive outstanding service whether in person or over the phone. The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, and committed to providing excellent customer support in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers and visitors, directing them to the appropriate departments or staff members
• Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, transferring calls as needed and addressing customer questions
• Assist customers on sale days by answering inquiries and printing gate passes
• Monitor the front counter to ensure all customers are assisted in a timely manner
• Resolve dealer concerns when possible and escalate issues to supervisors or management as necessary
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work station
• Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning
• Support other auction-related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
• Excellent verbal communication skills, especially over the phone
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated history of good attendance, punctuality, and stable work history
• Professional demeanor and commitment to exemplary customer service
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and general computer skills
• Positive, “can do” attitude
