Maintenance Mechanic II

Role Overview The Maintenance Mechanic II supports HSN and helps ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of automated fulfillment center equipment and facility systems. Location & Schedule This role is onsite at the fulfillment center in Piney Flats, TN. Relocation assistance is not available. Work hours are 12‑hour rotating shifts (7:00PM–7:30AM). You will report to the Maintenance Area Manager. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated sortation systems, conveyors, and facility equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues, partnering with senior technicians on controls‑related diagnostics and equipment modifications. Complete scheduled repairs and equipment adjustments to meet operational requirements and maintain performance within defined tolerances. Document all work performed by capturing labor, parts, and task details in the maintenance management system. Qualifications 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience repairing and maintaining electro‑mechanical equipment in a production or fulfillment environment. High school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to interpret technical data, schematics, and diagrams. Familiarity with electrical controls, conveyors, drives, bearings, and related components. Follow all safety procedures, work with cross‑functional teams, and departments. Physical capability to lift 30lbs (up to 70lbs), climb ladders and stairs, and work in varying temperature conditions. Proficiency with hand tools and basic software.
