Position Overview \n
\nSeeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrist licensed in Ohio to provide on-site psychiatric services on a part-time basis within a correctional healthcare setting. The schedule is flexible based on facility needs, with core hours generally between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.\n
\nThe selected provider will typically see 12–16 patients per 8-hour shift. This assignment is expected to last a minimum of 6 months and may lead to a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.\n

Key Responsibilities \n
\n•    Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services \n
\n•    Conduct patient assessments, examinations, and documentation in an electronic health record system \n
\n•    Manage and monitor psychiatric medications \n
\n•    Order and interpret diagnostic testing as needed \n
\n•    Make referrals for specialized treatment or additional care \n
\n•    Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams \n
\n•    Participate in quality improvement activities and peer reviews \n
\n•    Ensure compliance with professional standards, policies, and scope of practice requirements \n

Qualifications \n
\n•    Active Ohio Medical License \n
\n•    Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry \n
\n•    Current Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR Certification \n
\n•    DEA Certification preferred (required prior to assignment start) \n
\n•    Strong clinical and documentation skills \n
\n•    Experience in behavioral health and/or correctional healthcare preferred \n
