This posting is for multiple openings of Patient Services Specialist at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA. Part-time and full-time positions are available. The Admitting Representative is responsible for securing appropriate patient account reimbursement by obtaining complex demographic, insurance and medical information and ensuring this is documented timely and accurately. Provides assistance, directions, and instructions to visitors, patients and the general public regarding hospital/patient information. A track record in organizing and planning with demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and achieve results in a fast paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: H.S. Diploma or GED Coursework/Training: Some college level coursework, particularly Medical Terminology or Medical Assistance. National Certification of CHAA upon hire. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
