Maintenance Manager

While reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for achieving the highest level of reliability for plant equipment through committed support for our Performance System, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and strong ownership of the Maintenance Excellence process within the plant. Champion the Maintenance Excellence (ME) process. Serve as the Maintenance Excellence Leader for the Plant (TPM) Team Work closely with (TPM) Team to effectively deploy the 8 sub-pillars of the Maintenance Excellence pillar. Support KFF initiatives and partner with Production to meet our customers’ needs effectively and efficiently. Provide leadership to ensure the highest standards of equipment performance are achieved and sustained. This involves establishing a sufficient number of highly skilled, trained, and qualified individuals; providing the tools, facilities, and environment needed for success; implementing sufficient controls; and providing appropriate oversight Works with Senior Management to achieve zero-losses by creating an environment where personnel are fully engaged, teamwork and cooperation is routinely practiced, and maintenance personnel embrace high standards for housekeeping, craftsmanship and equipment reliability Promote a culture in which production and maintenance work together to identify and resolve abnormal or degraded equipment conditions that could negatively impact food or people safety, quality or productivity Support the "Zero-Loss initiative; improve overall equipment effectiveness by targeting the major losses, involve operators in the maintenance of their equipment, improve maintenance efficiency and effectiveness, training to improve skills and knowledge and participating in early equipment management and maintenance prevention design Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) 8-10 years of previous experience in plant maintenance or machine repair; pneumatic, electrical mechanical and industrial skills Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints and equipment manuals, and be proficient in basic industrial/electrical skills 10+ years’ experience leading and improving maintenance and reliability in an industrial environment where managing personnel, logistics, production, and workplace safety were a requirement. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with experience successfully leading and developing a team of engineers. Demonstrated success implementing & optimizing reliability maintenance systems and processes. Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and facility systems. Excellent leadership skills that include proven ability to coach and develop team members to a higher level of performance, ability to work in a team environment actively promoting collaboration, teamwork, and conflict resolution. Experience developing and managing budgets to maximize asset reliability. Demonstrated planning, organizing and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and projects concurrently.li> Computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Demonstrated experience with Root Cause Analysis tools. Exemplary communication skills, both written and oral, as well as highly developed interpersonal skills.
