The Extended Care Director Is Responsible For Planning and overseeing the Extended Care program Working directly with children and building positive relationships with families Communicating with parents and managing program enrollment and contracts Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising a small team of counselors Planning menus and purchasing after-school snacks Collaborating with the Financial Director to develop and manage the Extended Care budget Contributing interests, talents, and ideas that enrich the program Qualifications Genuine love of working with children Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Experience in education, childcare, or a mission-driven organization preferred Schedule & Expectations (September-June With Summers Off) Monday-Friday: 2:45 - 6:00 pm Occasional Half Day Fridays from 11:45 am - 6:00 pm (~10x per school year). *if the right candidate can work most but not everyday after school, we could make it work!
