NSC Staffing has immediate direct hire Machine Operator openings in St. Pete, FL! Machine Operator Job Type: Full-time Business Hours: 8:00AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday Experience Level: 2 plus years experience Salary rage: $16- $19 hourly
Responsibilities
- Set up production machinery to cut flexible shaft
- Use small hydraulic presses to attach metal fittings to shafts
- Inspect products using micrometer and calipers
- Enter results in database
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required, Trade School or Associate degree is a plus
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Basic math and computer skills required
- Mechanically inclined
- At least 2 years mechanical assembly experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read blueprints is desired
Physical Demands
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to move about, bend, stoop, use hands
- Unaided visual acuity or corrected visual acuity should be at least 20/40 in each eye at infinity (20 feet) with ability to distinguish colors
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks
